What Youll Do

Provide expert nursing care for telemetry patients, including cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
Administer medications, including non-titrating cardiac drips, and manage patient assessments
Support patient management for conditions such as post-op orthopedic, neuro, and general medical/telemetry cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, RTs, wound care, and charge nurses
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
Assist with procedures like phlebotomy, wound care, and patient education
Maintain a team-oriented, professional environment in accordance with hospital policies

What You Need
Required:

Valid RN license in the state of assignment
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience in telemetry or similar units
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Experience with EMR systems, cardiac monitoring, and patient care procedures

Preferred:

Telemetry experience with non-titrating cardiac drips and rhythm interpretation
Experience with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR systems
Ability to float between similar units as needed
