Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 3×12 Hours
Time: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate:

• Local: $55–$58/hr

• Traveler: $58–$60/hr

Requirements

• Active New York RN License in hand

• Minimum 2 years RN experience

• At least 1 year recent Telemetry/Stepdown experience

• BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required

• NIHSS may be obtained before start

• Epic charting experience required

• Must pass the hospital telemetry rhythm recognition exam before working independently

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.

• Administer IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions.

• Provide care to telemetry and stroke (CVA) patients.

• Accurately document patient care using Epic.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

• Provide safe, patient-centered care in an acute-care setting.
