    The ideal candidate for this role, Full Time Registered Nurse – Telemetry, will be passionate about providing care and educating the patients in this community!  You will be given the opportunity to make an impact and change the lives of countless people from all different walks of life!  The core responsibilities for this role will be the following:

    • Monitor real-time cardiac telemetry to identify and escalate arrhythmias per protocol.
    • Assess cardiac patients (AFib, V-tach, heart failure) through structured vital sign and status evaluations.
    • Assist with hemodynamic monitoring devices, including arterial lines and CVP catheters.
    • Administer and titrate IV cardiac medication infusions within physician-defined parameters.
    • Conduct neurological and respiratory screenings using standardized tools.
    • Support Code Blue and emergency response protocols.
    • Monitor telemetry trends and key lab values, reporting deviations for clinical evaluation.
    • Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation per hospital and Joint Commission standards.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and patient status communication.
    • Verify telemetry lead placement and manage alarm settings.

    Education

    Required

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or closely related field

    Licenses & Certifications

    Required

    Illinois State Registered Professional Nurse License
