Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-notch care to our patients. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and Med-Surg patients.
- Continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic (Excellian).
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
- Float within the nurse's scope of practice to support facility needs.
Requirements
- Active RN license; pending license may be accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience.
- Med-Surg experience may be considered.
- Previous Epic experience is required.
- Strong telemetry/cardiac monitoring skills.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts.
- Ability to work every other weekend.
- Willingness to float within scope based on facility needs.

Schedule & Contract Requirements
- 3x12-hour shifts
- Days/Nights
- Every other weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- Block scheduling is not available
- Locals are not accepted within a 100-mile radius
- RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
- Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for an assigned candidate without penalty or obligation to pay for the cancelled time. On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours.

Parking Information
First Day: Park in the Blue Ramp. The parking ticket will be validated for free on the first day only.
After the First Day:
- Night Shift: Parking is free in the hospital ramp.
- Day/Evening Shift: Candidates may use:
- Lot E: Approximately 1.5 blocks from the hospital. Flat-rate parking is available for two weeks; payment is required in full at the start of the contract. Cash or check only; credit cards are not accepted.
- Blue Ramp: Located across from the hospital. Two-week flat-rate parking is available; payment is required in full at the start of the contract. Cash or check only; credit cards are not accepted.
Parking rates are subject to facility confirmation.
