Advanced Personnel Resources is recruiting for a Registered Nurse Supervisor for our client who is rapidly growing in the Triad. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the unit. Handle all orientation, training, and supervision of the Certified Nursing Assistants. This position is responsible for ensuring internal compliance, Health Compliance, local regulations, and policies, and procedures. The Registered Nurse Supervisor serves as the triage nurse.The office is open Monday - Friday, working 8 am until 5 pm.The pay for this position will be up to $45 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesStaff Management and Development:Ensures daily supervision of Certified Nurse Aides.Orients new staff to the internal and external regulationsProvides departmental orientation and ongoing training for Adult Day Health staff, students, volunteers and contract providers assigned to the Adult Day Health Center.Assists with policy and procedures solutions as they relate to the performance and productivity of the agency and staff.Serves as liaison between administration and direct reports.Ensures nursing assessments are conducted per laws, regulations and agency policy and procedures.Health CoordinatorMaintains policies and procedures in accordance with ADHC regulations.Assists in monthly site visits (as needed) from ADHC auditors.Directs participant’s care based on nursing assessment. Treats and/or refers to appropriate discipline for further evaluation.Engages in direct communication with the Clinic Supervisor when triaging participants who require a clinic visit to include timely documentation to PCPs and appropriate IDT team members per standard operating procedures.Uses research, nursing process and collaboration to solve identified problemsEngages in and prepares assigned Certified Nursing Assistants to provide input in participant care planning.Ensures accurate and timely follow-through of orders related to care and services in the centerProvides timely and effective communication and follow-up with participants, families and contractors.Representation at morning meetings and for care planning purposes.Communicates with families and participants, connecting them with appropriate resources internally and externally.
