    What We Offer

    Join our team of Registered Nurses at our state-of-the-art Neuro Tower, where you'll help shape the future of exceptional patient care in our Stroke and Neuro unit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a robust and innovative team, build upon your neuro and psych knowledge, and make a lasting impact in a modern environment designed for both patients and staff. This position may be eligible for a signing bonus.

    • Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC
    • Schedule: Full-Time, 0.9 FTE, 72 Hours per 2 weeks, 12 Hour Day Shift, 7a-7p.

    • Onboarding: Comprehensive orientation and training program designed to set new team members up for success, with ongoing support from experienced preceptors and leadership.

    What You'll Do

    • Join and lead bedside patient progression rounds with our multidisciplinary team.
    • Continued education on unit-based seizure response tactics.
    • Participate and facilitate group music therapy sessions for our stroke and neuro patients.
    • Engage with our active unit-based shared governance implementing team-based initiatives to improve patient quality of life.
    • Weekly knowledge and clinical skill in service for stroke and neuro toolset.
    • Promote health and wellness within our team in unit-based employee respite room.

    What We're Looking For

    • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
    • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
    • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
    • Licensure/certification/registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
