*It is required that all nurses, including travelers, are proficient in reading, identifying and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These floors are true cardiac floors and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health*
Shift: NIGHTS (1900-0730)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? To like or lesser units
Ratios: 1:5
Years of experience REQ: 1 yr (Preferred 2 years)
First-timers accepted: Yes
Certs REQ: ACLS , BCLS, NIH
Locals accepted: No, must live outside 50 miles
Pending License accepted: Yes, must be active prior to start date
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Special Requirements: Must have telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience. Some cardiac drip experience is required
See a variety of drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone and Lasix for examples
Have beds able to do hemodialysis (HD done by outside company) so we do see renal patients
All modes of oxygenation other than vents.
