Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $79.20 $83.20 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:30 19:55); will also accept 4x10 schedule

Job Summary
This is a Registered Nurse / RNFA (RN First Assistant) contract position at a healthcare facility in Orange, CA. The role requires a highly experienced surgical nurse with proficiency across multiple service lines. On-call responsibilities are shared evenly across all RNFAs and are estimated at approximately 8 days during a 6-week schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide RNFA services across multiple surgical specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology
- Participate in kidney call rotation Monday through Friday, 1800 0600
- Participate in kidney call rotation Saturday and Sunday, 24 hours (0600 0600)
- Participate in Saturday and Sunday general call rotation, 0700 1700
- Participate in holiday general call rotation, 0700 1700 (no kidney call on holidays)
- Share on-call responsibilities evenly across all RNFAs (estimated 8 days per 6-week schedule)
Required Skills
- Proficiency in robotics surgery
- Proficiency in bariatric surgery

- Proficiency in ortho/spine surgery
- Proficiency in vascular surgery
- Proficiency in urology surgery

Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of scrub and circulating experience required
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- On-call responsibilities estimated at 8 days during a 6-week schedule; call split evenly across all RNFAs
- Kidney call rotation Monday Friday, 1800 0600
- Kidney call rotation Saturday Sunday, 24 hours (0600 0600)
- Saturday Sunday general call rotation, 0700 1700
- Holiday general call rotation, 0700 1700; no kidney call on holidays
- Schedule options: 4x10 or 3x12
