Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and intervene as needed.
• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for trauma, ortho, and neuro patients.
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and other physical care needs safely.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Document care accurately and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current Florida license or compact state license.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (hospital, LTACH, home health, or rehab considered).
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

• ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire).
• Experience in trauma, ortho, neuro, or high-acuity Med-Surg units.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $30.76-$41.50/hr with applicable shift and certification differentials.
