The BridgeWay is seeking a talented Registered Nurse to work for a temporary appointment (duration is 14 weeks). This position is a non-benefits position.

The Registered Nurse will provide nursing care for psychiatric patients, including child, adolescent, adults, and chemical dependency patients using the nursing process. Duties include:

• Assess mental health needs • Develop nursing diagnoses • Identify outcomes • Plan and evaluate nursing care • Administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician • Ensure safety and provide milieu management and crisis intervention strategies

Job Specifics

Job Requirements:

  1. Current license to practice nursing in the State of Arkansas.
  2. Current CPR/BLS and CPI certifications (offered onsite).
  3. Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65 years+.

HOURS/SCHEDULE:

This is a temporary 13-week assignment. The first one week will be orientation. Then, work (3) 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 12 weeks. Day shifts are 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Night shifts are 6:30 p.m. - 7 a.m.
