Registered Nurse, RN - Stroke & Neuro

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. What We're Looking For:

• Education:
  - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  - If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  
  
• Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.
  
  
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: 
  - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
  - Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.

What You'll Do:

• Caring for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, and neuromuscular disorders
• Administering and titrating IV medications, blood products, and specialized drips
• Supporting patients through acute stroke protocols, including thrombolytic therapy and post-thrombectomy care
• Monitoring neurological status and identifying early changes in condition
• Providing patient and family education on recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term disease management
