    Registered Nurse (RN) Pulmonary Unit | Gainesville, FL
    Full-Time | Nights (7p7a) | Pay: $30.69 to $43.20/hr + Differentials
    Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (Nights) / $15,000 (Days) | Relocation Assistance: $2,500$5,000 (for 100+ miles)

Our Pulmonary team provides specialized nursing care for patients with respiratory and related medical conditions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with pulmonary and complex medical conditions.

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create individualized care plans.

    • Administer prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments.

    • Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and discharge plans.

    • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards.

    • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.

    • Manage a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio while maintaining quality care standards.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred).

    • Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider).

    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience acute care not required. Acceptable experience includes LTAC, skilled nursing, outpatient rehab, home health, or corrections.

    • Must live within a commutable distance (within 60 minutes) of the facility.

    • Must complete an in-person interview, including shadowing and facility tour, before offer consideration.

    Preferred:

    • NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

    • Experience in pulmonary, respiratory, or medical-surgical nursing.

    • Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Pay Range: $30.69 to $43.20/hr (based on experience)

      • 2 years: $30.69/hr

      • 5 years: $33.71/hr

      • 17+ years: $43.20/hr

    • Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr (Nights) | $3/hr (Weekends)

    • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (Nights) | $15,000 (Days)

    • Relocation Assistance: $2,500 to $5,000 (for candidates relocating 100+ miles)

    • No On-Call Requirements
