Travel Registered Nurse (RN)- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 8-week travel assignment in Coos Bay, OR.
Contract Details
- Nights 12 hr/Must be able to float to MCU/PSU/APU as needed
- Start Date: 9/15/2026
- Contract: 8 Weeks
- Location: Coos Bay, OR
- Hourly Pay: $ 28.00
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 994.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $1750.00
- Weekend Requirements: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
- On Call Requirements: On call schedule to be determined by facility
- Non-billable hours: 16 hours
Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient
- Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition
- Changing dressings, starting IV lines and inserting catheters
- Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use
- Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses’ own schedule of drugs
- Accurately reporting on patients’ progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers
- Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have must have acute care hospital experience
- must have 24 months minimum of current Intermediate/Progressive Care Unit experience
- Facility would consider a candidate with PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown experience
- Certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
- OR license don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
- ACLS (AHA) certification is needed
- Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
- Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.

- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
