# OR Registered NursePipestone County Medical Center & Family Clinic Avera is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for a pre-operative, post-operative, and circulating assignment in Pipestone, Minnesota. The position is based at 916 Fourth Avenue Southwest, Pipestone, Minnesota 56164.The nurse will work eight-hour day shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional earlier or later hours based on the surgery schedule. The assignment includes a one-in-four call rotation, including holidays, and is expected to last 16 weeks with the possibility of extending to 18 weeks.## Position Details- Position: OR Registered Nurse- Location: Pipestone, Minnesota 56164- Address: 916 Fourth Avenue Southwest- Start date: November 23- Assignment length: 16 weeks, possibly 18 weeks## Schedule- Five eight-hour day shifts per week- Typical hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM- Earlier or later shifts may occur based on the surgery schedule- One-in-four call rotation, including holidays- Christmas Day is call-only because the facility is closed## Responsibilities- Perform pre-operative and post-operative nursing responsibilities.- Circulate for endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, cataracts, ENT, and dental procedures.- Independently support listed obstetric emergency procedures, including Cesarean sections, suction D&C, and postpartum hemorrhage control.- Participate in the required call rotation.- Complete charting in Epic.## Qualifications- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.- TNCC certification is preferred.- Experience with pre-operative, post-operative, and circulating nursing is required.- Independent knowledge of the listed obstetric emergency procedures is required for consideration.- On-site training will be provided for facility procedures and policies.
