Location: UNC Wayne Health Care – Goldsboro, NC
Department: 7th Floor Progressive Care Unit
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 Hours/Week
Shifts: Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $33.00–$54.45/hour based on experience
Position Overview
UNC Wayne Health Care is seeking Registered Nurses to join its 7th Floor Progressive Care Unit!
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring an elevated level of monitoring and care. Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
Active North Carolina RN license or compact license.
BLS certification.
Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
One year of hospital experience required.
Telemetry, PCU/Stepdown, ED, or ICU experience preferred.
BSN preferred.
Schedule & Requirements
Every third weekend required.
Holiday rotation: Half of recognized holidays, plus additional unit-designated holidays.
On-call requirement: One 12-hour shift per 6-week schedule.
Two hours' notice provided if called in.
