We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Services team and help provide extraordinary care.

    Position Summary

    The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to immediate pre-operative and post-operative patients. Through continuous assessment and patient monitoring, this role supports the early recognition and intervention of potential medical or surgical complications, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.

    Schedule

    PRN (As Needed)

    • Monday through Friday
    • Hours between 4:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
    • Variable shift lengths and start times
    • Minimum commitment of six shifts within a rolling three-month period

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Admit patients to the pre-operative area and complete comprehensive nursing assessments and documentation.
    • Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations and provide patient and family education.
    • Receive patients from surgery, assess their condition, and deliver appropriate post-anesthesia and recovery care.
    • Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and intervene as necessary.
    • Document assessments, care provided, patient outcomes, and progress toward established nursing goals.
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-focused care.
