Position Summary: The Oncology Registered Nurse provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. This role supports patients through assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and coordinated care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Shift: 0.6 FTE, Night Shift
  • Employment Type: Full-Time with full benefits package
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care to oncology patients during the night shift.
  • Perform ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Administer chemotherapy, medications, and IV therapies safely in accordance with established protocols.
  • Monitor patient conditions, document progress, and report changes promptly.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Maintain safety standards, infection control, and accurate patient records.
  • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Active Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License at the time of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
