    Monday through Friday | 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
    Occasional Night & Weekend Coverage as Needed

    Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Medical Team Administrator (MTA) at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina.

    This is a great opportunity for an experienced RN who enjoys structure, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping oversee the delivery of quality correctional healthcare.

    The primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. From time to time, the MTA may be asked to provide occasional night or weekend coverage when there are call-outs or additional shift coverage needs.

    What You’ll Do

    As the Medical Team Administrator, you will help oversee the day-to-day delivery of healthcare services within the facility while providing hands-on clinical support when needed.

    Your responsibilities may include:

    • Overseeing and coordinating daily healthcare operations
    • Providing clinical guidance and support to the nursing team
    • Delivering direct patient care as needed
    • Coordinating patient assessments, treatments, medications, and follow-up care
    • Ensuring compliance with established clinical policies and procedures
    • Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation
    • Communicating with facility leadership and the SHP healthcare team
    • Supporting staff development, scheduling, and clinical performance
    • Helping maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment
    • Responding to staffing needs, including occasional night or weekend coverage when necessary
