    Position Overview
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a collaborative Medical Surgical Telemetry team focused on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen acute care nursing skills while working alongside an experienced leadership team and supportive clinical staff. It also provides valuable experience for future advancement into Intermediate Care (IMC), Intensive Care (ICU), and other specialty nursing areas.
    The unit maintains a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:5 to 1:6, allowing nurses to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
    • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
    • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
    • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
    • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
    • Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with clinical standards.
    • Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.
    • Utilize evidence-based practices and technology to support quality care.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or a valid Compact RN License.
    • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
    • Current BLS certification.
    • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • ACLS certification.
    • PALS certification.
