Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical (Med Surg) | Nights Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit in Hudson, Florida. As a Med Surg RN, you will provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized treatment plans. This position is ideal for nurses with recent acute care experience who thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License (Florida license required within 90 days if holding a compact license).
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred.
• Recent Acute Care RN experience required. *No recent LTAC-only experience.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Rotating Weekends

Pay

• $30.00 – $42.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Differentials

• Night Shift Differential: +$4.75/hour
• Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hour
