Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• RN licensure: Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• Certifications: BLS
• EMR: Epic required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide quality patient care to a diverse population from adolescents to geriatrics in a Med/Surg unit.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition; participate in rapid response and code team activities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments, promoting patient engagement.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 24 hours
• Request time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; maximum 7 days per contract
• RTO blackout: Spring Break April 4–12
