Description
A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care, clinical supervision, and care coordination support in an internal medicine setting serving both adult and pediatric patients.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard business hours
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and point-of-care testing
- Supervise and support LPNs and Medical Assistants on the care team
- Coordinate daily huddles, staffing schedules, PTO requests, and patient care plans
- Prepare patients for exams, assist providers during procedures, and triage urgent needs and same-day appointments
- Manage clinical messages, EHR documentation, patient follow-up, referrals, test results, and care coordination
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current unrestricted New York RN License
- BLS Certification
- Hospital or ambulatory nursing experience
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a clinical team
Desired Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records, including EPIC
