Description

A health services network in New York City is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing internal medicine practice.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day shift
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: In-person, clinic

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and point-of-care testing
  • Support patient flow by preparing patients for exams and assisting providers during procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of LPNs and Medical Assistants on the care team
  • Manage staffing schedules, PTO requests, daily huddles, and clinical messaging
  • Coordinate follow-up care, testing, referrals, treatment plans, and patient education

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Nursing experience
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with EMR documentation
  • Hospital or Ambulatory Nursing experience
  • Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a clinical team

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Working knowledge of Epic EMRs
