Description

An internal medicine clinic in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership, patient care, and care coordination in an ambulatory setting.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: Standard business; occasional late evenings until 8:00 PM
Setting: In-person clinic

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support LPNs and Medical Assistants in daily clinical operations
Coordinate staff scheduling, PTO requests, and delegation of clinical tasks
Provide direct patient care, including assessments, vital signs, medications, and treatments
Support care coordination through huddles, chart reviews, triage, and patient education
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and serve as a liaison across the care team

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current, unrestricted New York State RN license
BLS certification
Experience in hospital and/or ambulatory care settings
Knowledge of nursing regulations, standards, and best practices
Experience with EMR systems
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and delegate effectively

Desired Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Experience in internal medicine or a similar specialty setting
EPIC experience
