Registered Nurse (RN) Immunizer Highlights
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Worksite: On-site — Ithaca, NY 14850
Employment Type: Temporary / Short-term assignment
Assignment Dates: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 – November 13, 2026 (approx.)
 
Responsibilities
Assess patients and administer vaccinations following clinical standards and policies
Perform immunization screenings and verify eligibility/vaccination history
Complete accurate documentation, including Vaccine Administration Records (VAR)
Educate patients on vaccination services and encourage participation when appropriate
Support efficient clinic workflow and coordinate with onsite staff/clinic partners
Use computer systems to document care and communicate updates
Communicate patient status changes/concerns to appropriate team members
 
Requirements
Active RN license (required)
Active BLS certification (required)
Immunization/vaccination experience (preferred)
Ability to commit to the full assignment timeframe (9/8/2026–11/13/2026)
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced vaccination clinic environment
