A healthcare organization supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse for a residential ICF setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
- Setting: Residential Facility
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and follow through on health care services for assigned residential programs
- Arrange medical services, referrals, and follow-up care for individuals served
- Maintain nursing documentation, medical records, and assessment paperwork
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and annual reviews
- Provide staff training on medication administration, hygiene, infection control, and related nursing topics
- Support medication administration, first aid, triage, and emergency response as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Nursing experience in Community-based Health Services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
- OPWDD experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in residential programs, group homes, or other ICF settings
- Strong non-clinical and administrative nursing background
- Experience with medical assessments, care coordination, and follow-up on physician orders
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment, wheelchair
