Lead the Evening Nursing Team
Park Manor Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to oversee evening nursing operations and coordinate resident admissions.
This position combines clinical leadership with admissions responsibilities, ensuring smooth transitions for new residents while supporting nursing staff and maintaining quality care throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of evening nursing operations.
- Complete nursing assessments and required documentation for new admissions.
- Review admission records, physician orders, medications, and resident care needs.
- Coordinate admissions with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Conduct rounds and respond to changes in resident condition, staffing concerns, and emergencies.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Ensure accurate documentation, infection prevention, resident safety, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous nursing experience required.
- House Supervisor, Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, or nursing leadership experience preferred.
- Admissions experience and skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a nursing team effectively.
