Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
- Comprehensive patient assessments to inform individualized care plans.
- Administer IV medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage biologic infusions (training provided), catheter care and wound care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, coordinate case management efforts, and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and EMR/EHR systems. Utilizing nurse created user friendly documentation system.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, including chronic disease management and medication administration.
Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of employment with current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, and aseptic technique adherence.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments. Communicate with MD as indicated.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and behavioral health patients.
