The hospital also features a 24-hour emergency department, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility with advanced diagnostic technology, a cardiac rehabilitation program, GI lab, outpatient clinics and a sleep lab. ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Exercise Specialist, RN is a valuable member of the Cardiopulmonary Rehab Team. The CES provides inpatient and outpatient care to patients with Cardiovascular and /or pulmonary disease. The CES will assess, plan, treat, and perform diagnostic testing on patients with cardiovascular/respiratory dysfunctions. Patients' development and implementation are the primary function of the CES consisting of patient education, rehabilitation, wellness program, health enhancement and Quality improvement. QualificationsJob Requirements:Graduate of an approved RN schoolCurrent professional licensure in the State of Texas for RN BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient careACLS certifications Preferred Job Requirements: ACSM certification
