    Registered Nurse (RN) Charge, Trauma Ortho/Neuro Med-Surg | Bradenton, FL
    Full-Time | Days or Nights | 12-Hour Shifts, Rotating Weekends
    Pay Range: $30.76 to $41.50/hour (based on experience)
    Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr | National Certification +$2.00/hr
    Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000 (paid in installments)
    Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 (with approval)

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations for the Trauma Ortho/Neuro Med-Surg unit.

    • Provide direct patient care and ensure adherence to clinical standards.

    • Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

    • Manage patient assignments, resource allocation, and shift communication.

    • Monitor patient progress, document assessments, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.

    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

    • Promote patient satisfaction through compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)

    • Current RN license in Florida or Compact State

    • Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)

    • Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience

    • Minimum 1 year of Charge Nurse experience in an acute care setting

    • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

    • ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
