A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to provide high-quality patient care while supporting nursing operations and staff development in an acute care setting. This role combines direct patient care responsibilities with leadership duties to promote safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.
Provide direct nursing care to patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
Coordinate and oversee daily patient care activities and support efficient unit operations
Serve as a professional role model and clinical resource for nursing team members
Promote safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care practices
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
Delegate appropriate patient care activities and monitor the quality of care delivery
Perform preceptor and charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
Support staff development, communication, and the sharing of organizational information
Demonstrate leadership, professional accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and uphold organizational policies and standards
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field required within the designated timeframe, or specialty nursing certification as required
Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience
Nursing specialty certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
