Job Description
Title: Nurse Lead - Emergency Department

Schedule: Night Shift - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
- At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Five years of technical experience: Preferred
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification: Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide unit-based leadership in the development and delivery of clinical services.
- Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans for optimal patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance in the delivery of patient care activities to ensure quality outcomes.
- Foster an environment of patient and family-centered care, with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs.
- Engage with patients and families to solicit feedback on nursing services and address any concerns.
