    Registered Nurse (RN) Care Coordinator – Urology
    • Setting: Physician Office / Outpatient Clinic
    • Company: Southwoods Health
    • Location: Primarily Boardman, OH (with rotation to Howland and Austintown clinics)
    • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
    • Hours: Weekly rotation (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
    • Work-Life Balance: No evenings, weekends, or holidays!
     
    About the Role
    Southwoods Health is seeking a flexible, clinical-minded Registered Nurse to join our Urology team. Operating entirely within a provider office environment, this unique role rotates across our three urology practices. You will act as the vital clinical link between office physicians and patients to ensure seamless, high-quality outpatient care.
     
    Core Office Responsibilities
    • Clinical Coordination: Assist office physicians with specialized urological procedures and manage complex clinic treatment schedules.
    • Patient Advocacy: Serve as the primary office contact for medical concerns, triage patient phone calls, and process prescription refills via EMR.
    • Results Management: Track diagnostic test results, communicate findings to patients per physician orders, and coordinate follow-up clinic appointments.
    • Procedural Support: Perform in-office Point of Care (POC) testing; compile necessary orders, labs, and reports for scheduled hospital procedures.
    • Clinic Compliance: Complete Environment of Care (EOC) rounds and maintain strict compliance with OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards within the practice.
     
    Qualifications
    • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a physician’s office or ambulatory clinic setting (Required).
    • License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio (Required).
    • Certifications: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (Required).
    • Technical Skills: Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (Preferred).
    • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred).
