Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac, neuro, and telemetry patients.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological changes, and vital signs, responding promptly to patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by authorized providers.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge care.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Uphold hospital safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Participate in continuous improvement and professional development initiatives.
Required:
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred).
Minimum of 1 year recent (within last 12 years) acute care Med-Surg or Telemetry RN experience.
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
BSN degree or higher.
Experience with post-cardiac and neuro patient populations.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Hourly pay range: $30.75 to $44.68/hr (based on experience).
$30.75 to $34.87/hr (5 years)
$39.04/hr (10 years)
$44.68/hr (17+ years)
Shift differentials: $4.50/hr (Nights) | $1.50/hr (Weekends).
Sign-on bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights).
