Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse (RN) –Birmingham, Alabama

Responsible for providing comprehensive, specialized nursing care to patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplants.
Performs patient assessments, monitors vital signs and laboratory results, administers chemotherapy, blood products, IV medications, and other prescribed treatments.
Closely monitors patients for infection, graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), and other transplant-related complications while providing timely interventions.
Collaborates with physicians, transplant coordinators, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Provides patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medication management, infection prevention, and post-transplant care.
Maintains accurate medical documentation, monitors patient responses to treatment, manages symptoms and side effects, and provides emotional support throughout the transplant journey.
Ensures compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient safety protocols while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
