    Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Surgical Center

    Location: 201 W 69th St., Sioux Falls, SD
    Schedule: Full Time, Monday–Friday (Half-day off weekly)
    Hours: Variable between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    Status: Benefits Eligible

    About the Role

    We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) team. This position plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a same-day surgery environment while collaborating with physicians, surgical staff, and leadership to ensure safe and efficient patient experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support perioperative patient care in a same-day surgery setting
    • Assist with pre-operative preparations and patient education
    • Monitor and care for patients during the post-operative recovery phase
    • Coordinate patient transitions throughout the surgical process
    • Collaborate with physicians and surgical staff to ensure seamless patient care
    • Adhere to established protocols for patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives as needed

    Reporting Structure

    • Reports directly to the Director of Nursing
    • Receives direction from physicians, advanced practice providers, and ASC management

    Position Requirements

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota
    • Clinical experience preferred, particularly in ambulatory surgery, perioperative services, PACU, pre-op, or surgical nursing
    • Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
    • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining high clinical standards
