Position: Contingent Clinical Care Registered Nurse (RN) – MinuteClinic

Location:  IN 46544 (On-site / patient-facing)

Hours: ~38 hours/weekSchedule: Clinic operating hours; typically 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend + some major holidays (after training)

Start: Individual start (includes **3 weeks training/orientation**, then schedules built in 6-week blocks)  

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse supporting MinuteClinic operations, you’ll use strong clinical judgment and evidence-based practice to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced retail clinic setting. You will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, document in the EMR, and work closely with the care team to support excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and deliver evidence-based nursing care  
Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) as ordered  
Perform routine assessments and monitor/document vital signs  
Support point-of-care testing, vaccine administration, and phlebotomy  
Document accurately in electronic health records (Epic preferred)  
Conduct appropriate mental health screening assessments as needed  
Communicate clearly with patients/families and healthcare team members  
Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in Indiana (must be in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)  
If using a compact license, it must be issued in the nurse’s primary state of residence

BLS certification (AHA or ARC) valid at least 30+ days beyond the start date  
BSN required  
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required  
Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER (required)  
Do not apply if your background is limited to long-term care-only settings (SNF/LTAC/nursing home/home health)

Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing  
Comfortable with EMR systems (Epic preferred)  
Minimum 1 year related healthcare experience
