Job Title: Registered Nurse – Rehab
Location: Napa, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift & Schedule: Day | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | 3x12 hours | 36 hours/week
Local Candidates Required: No
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes

Pay Rate
Traveler: $1,850 - $1,930/week

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a rehabilitation assignment in Napa, CA. The RN will provide care to rehabilitation patients and may float to Med/Surg and Orthopedics based on facility needs.

Position Details

  • Rooms/Beds: 7/14

  • Average Daily Census: 10

  • Float: Possible float to Med/Surg and Orthopedics

  • Call: May be required based on patient census

  • RTO: No more than 7 days

  • Scrubs: Royal Blue

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience

  • Rehabilitation experience

  • Active California RN license

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Ability to float to Med/Surg and Orthopedics

  • Availability to work every other weekend

  • Pending California license not accepted

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel nursing experience

  • First-time travelers considered

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in the rehabilitation setting.

  • Assess patients and monitor changes in clinical condition.

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

  • Assist patients with rehabilitation goals and activities.

  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.

  • Document patient care accurately and timely.

  • Provide patient and family education.

  • Float to Med/Surg or Orthopedic units as needed.

  • Participate in call coverage based on patient census.

  • Support safe patient transitions and continuity of care.
