Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $44.66 $48.66 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 Hours, 19:00 7:30; weekend coverage every other weekend (may vary based on need)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This travel nursing opportunity is with a CARF Accredited rehabilitation hospital in South Carolina one of only a few in the state accredited in traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, and stroke. The unit is part of a large health system connected to a 600-bed Level One trauma hospital, providing quick access to all services including rapid response and code teams. The facility utilizes Omnicell for medication management and EPIC for clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for patients with diagnoses including Spinal Cord Injury, Amputee, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Stroke
- Support patients in meeting the program requirement of completing 3 hours of therapy per day
- Provide nursing care across a unit divided between 2 floors (29 beds on the 2nd floor and 19 beds on the 3rd floor)
- Utilize ARJO lift equipment including Maxi Move, Sara Plus, and Steady
- Document clinical care using EPIC
- Administer and manage medications via the Omnicell medication system
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation nursing specialty
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience (required to apply)
- Proficiency with Omnicell medication system
- Ability to operate ARJO lift equipment (Maxi Move, Sara Plus, and Steady)
Education Requirements
- Active RN license South Carolina (SC) required
- BLS certification required
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation nursing specialty
- First-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
