SUMMARY: Utilizes the principles of the nursing process to provide for the continuity and quality of nursing care administered to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within the Department of Imaging Services, consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Department of Imaging Services and Hospital Administration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the Department of Imaging Services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
NYS RN License Required
Accredited School of Nursing Graduate
1 Year Specialized Experience Required; Procedural Experience Preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Required

Working Conditions:

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Significant occupational risk
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
