About the Role:North Point Senior Homecare in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by delivering high-quality, personalized care right in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for senior clients
- Administer medications, treatments, and skilled nursing procedures in a home care setting
- Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members
- Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and care techniques
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with home health regulations, care standards, and documentation requirements
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
- Previous home health, geriatric, or senior care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
- CPR/BLS certification required
