Their team consists of highly skilled specialists in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, Endocrinology, and Neurology.
NOTE: THIS IS A PRN POSITION
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a physician, the RN will take patients' medical histories and vital signs and record the information in the EHR system.
Examine and assist with the treatment of patients.
Order necessary laboratory tests and track results. Make sure the physician reviews the results in a timely manner.
Record progress notes in the EHR system.
Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans.
Order and carry out chemotherapy, including starting IVs, performing injections, and drawing blood samples.
Travel may be required depending on business needs.
Hours may vary and be outside of normal office hours depending on business needs.
Requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
Requires the ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion.
Must have knowledge of and follow the HIPAA guidelines and secure Protected Health Information at all times.
The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
