Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families. The role involves utilizing comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of nursing care plans, patient education, and ongoing evaluation. The ideal candidate will deliver holistic and individualized care, fostering collaborative relationships with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CA RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience in admissions

Work Schedule

  • No weekend requirements
  • On-call duties as needed
  • May be required to float to Endo if necessary

Key Responsibilities

Assessment and Planning of Patient Care

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, spiritual, and emotional areas to determine service needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and mid-level practitioners to coordinate patient care services.
  • Work with peers and management to streamline patient workflow and improve outcomes.

Provision of Patient Care

  • Deliver competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care in line with policies and standards.
  • Administer medications and therapeutic agents as prescribed.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately based on scope of practice and capability.
  • Communicate treatments and activities clearly to patients and families, ensuring understanding through teach-back methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and stay updated on best practices in acute care.

Clinic Support

  • Ensure efficient and effective clinical operations.
  • Provide orientation and training to new staff members.
  • Manage supply orders and stock.
  • Assist with patient care activities and lead clinical settings when appropriate.
  • Identify and contribute to areas of improvement within the organization or department.
