Description
Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Unit: PACU – Ground Floor
Position #: 665A
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Shift Time: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Local Candidate Policy: No local candidates within 50 miles
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU/Post Anesthesia RN experience required
AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Cerner experience required
Unit Details
PACU operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Holiday coverage includes call requirements
Handles higher-acuity post-anesthesia cases, including:
Thoracic
Orthopedic
Neurology
Vascular
Urology
General Surgery
Unit is overseen by a Charge Nurse and Supervisor
Holiday Requirements
Travelers must work 2 major holidays out of 3:
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
