Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse to provide coverage during a maternity leave assignment at a school/organization in Pingree Grove, IL. The nurse will be responsible for supporting student health needs, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to students and staff
- Administer medications and manage health plans
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well‑being
Requirements:
- Current Illinois RN license
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or community health preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
