- Experience: Minimum 2 years PICU experience; cross-trained candidates able to float to Adult ICU and Med/Tele are highly preferred

What Youll Do- Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients with diagnoses such as MS, DKA, Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Neuro conditions, and post-surgical cases
- Titrate medications including pressors, insulin, heparin, and sedation agents
- Perform peripheral blood draws and manage IV lines, CVLs, drains, and wound vacs
- Collaborate with the hospitals multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, hospitalists, RT, and resource nurses
- Adapt to unit protocols and assist with patient care in NICU or adult ICU/stepdown, if experienced
- Follow hospital policies and complete necessary documentation using Meditech Expanse
What You Need- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to practice in the state
- Minimum of 2 years PICU experience (preferred cross-training to adult ICU/Tele)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (NRP preferred)
- Strong IV skills including CVL and telemetry management
- Comfort with titrating pressors, insulin, sedation, and pain drips
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
- Key skills: patient assessment, medication administration, teamwork, adaptability
