" This is a 4-bed Pediatric unit at LBH Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland
" The unit averages approximately 1 2 patients and serves neonates, infants, pediatric and adolescent patients
" The RN will frequently be the only caregiver assigned to the Pediatric unit and must be comfortable working independently
" Support is available from the Emergency Department and Family Birthplace
" Common patient populations include respiratory illness, jaundice, overdose, social placement, failure to thrive, congenital medical conditions, dehydration/diarrhea and diabetes
" This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Pediatric RN who enjoys working independently while also maintaining adult Med-Surg skills
