Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Location: Children’s Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Times: 10-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Pediatric Operating Room
• Participate in on-call shifts as required
• Adapt to departmental needs, including potential shift changes
• Meet departmental requirements for weekend work

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Active RN license (State or Compact)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous Operating Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility
• Pediatric experience required
• Strong Ortho, Spine & Neuro experience
• Ability to scrub is preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Willingness to float to off shifts as needed
• Flexible with rotating shifts

Additional Information:

• No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
• Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed
• Work schedule and assigned hours are based on departmental needs and may change
• Possible shifts include:
  • 0900–2100
  • 1100–2300
  • 1500–0300
  • 1900–0700
• Required response time for on-call duties is 30 minutes
