What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care for stepdown and med-surg patients, including those with CVA/TIA, spinal surgeries, AFIB/RVR, DKA, COPD, and post-heart caths
• Manage patient care with patient ratios of 1:3 (RN) and 1:9 (CNA)
• Use telemetry monitors and perform charting in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Support patient needs with IV therapy, titratable medications, and basic respiratory care
• Collaborate with hospital teams, including hospitalists, RT, OT/PT, and specialists
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards, including EKG competency

What You Need
Required:

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• 2+ years of acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH certification
• Ability to perform charting and use hospital equipment

Preferred:

• Experience in telemetry monitoring, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, or peritoneal dialysis
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
