General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Required Skills Telemetry, Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias; Diagnoses include Hypertensive urgency, Afib with RVR, DKA/HHS, Sepsis, Respiratory insufficiency requiring BiPap, Heart Failure, COPD Exacerbation, Post-operative, GI Bleed, Stable stroke, Chronic ventilator care, Unstable angina, Drug Overdose

Ratio / Census: 5 beds with average daily census of 4.5

Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere (6 shifts per 6 week schedule)

Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed and possibly to sister campus (Piedmont Columbus Midtown)

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays.
